Intex IN-8810 V.Show: 3.2 inch Touchscreen Phone with built-in Projector
Intex mobiles recently introduced a dual SIM touchscreen handset known as IN-8810 V.SHOW. It is India`s first handset, which is equipped with a projector. So, the phone allows you to watch videos, pictures or presentations on large display. The phone comes with dual camera and dual and dual memory card slot of 8GB each.
At the announcement of the handset, the general manager of marketing at Intex Technologies, Vinayak Kumar Lal said,
The launch of V Show is one more attempt to consciously demonstrate that our mobiles can do more than just voice and message.
Intex IN8810- V.SHOW Hardware Configuration
IN-8810 V.SHOW is a 3.2 inch touchscreen handset. The basic emphasize of the phone is to provide you a theater- type feeling while watching movies. Therefore, it does not compromise with battery life and the video quality. More over the phone also comes with tripod stand, allowing you to place the phone there to view movies on large screen.
The phone is capable of projecting a 61 inch image with 10 lumens of brightness at QWVGA resolution. It can support a maximum distance of 12 feet and works well in the dark room. However, the projections made in lit room are not that clear.
The battery life such that, it allows you to watch a 3 hours movie, where video is getting rendered at 25FPS. The handset is equipped with multi- format Music Player, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPRS connectivity.
As mentioned above, the phone has a dual memory card slot, with each slot supporting 8GB in addition to dual camera situated at front and back end.

The handset offers Java support and comes preloaded with Bolt mobile browser, Facebook and Twitter apps.

The price of Intex IN8810- V.SHOW is close to Rs. 12,000 and will soon be available across all Intex and multi brand mobile retail shops across India from the first week of December.
My Verdict
Intex V.SHOW is projector cum touchscreen phone. It`s first of its kind in India. So, if you are impressed, you may go for it. However, it`s priced Rs. 12,000 and is just a mere Java handset. These days, you can easily get Android on such a budget. Overall, the phone seems to be a decent bargain. What are your views on it? Do let us know.
